I created this design as a commission for The MadLila, see another piece of work I completed for them here. This commission was pitched to me as “a cool tattoo eagle and it says New Bedford somewhere!” This design was going to be printed onto totebags and eventually t-shirts, so I knew I wanted the design to work well sitting in the center of where it would be printed- and I knew that I wanted it to have the ability to work on black and white bases.
I created the above image for the client, so they could see how the design would work on bags. I can’t wait for these to be printed so I can use these everywhere.
After completing this project, I worked with a local designer to learn more about printing onto apparel. They taught me about bitmapping, and pictured above is this same eagle after the process was completed.
